My pastor's daughter...

tinpraYou may or may not remember my posting about my pastor's youngest daughter being sick, and asking for prayers on her behalf. She was so weak that doctor's gave her a 5% chance to live. That was back in September.
Now Melissa is off nearly all of her machines and is only on a ventilator which they're trying to wean her off of. She's still in ICU because she's very weak (I can't imagine what it's like being too weak to breathe on your own). The last I'd heard, she'd developed pneumonia in-hospital and they were working on that. That notwithstanding, we are all ecstatic. She was supposed to die. As a matter of fact one of her doctors went away on vacation and was surprised to see Melissa alive when he returned. We're still concerned, and we're still praying, but she's already come so very far. She's already miraculous.
