First, by way of announcement: If you are doing the

fanfic100 challenge and have a claim, please check the BDT to make sure your claim is still valid. Back in Nov, ff100 began an oversight comm

fanfic100_admin. Subsequently an activity check was posted on the oversight comm (we won't get into how there is supposedly no time limit on ff100 claims). Mention of this check was posted only on the oversight comm. The check is now over and done with. If you didn't respond, your claim or claims are gone.

On that note, I'm pondering taking up a claim for Az. And perhaps one for Az/Cain. But maybe that's too much. They're pro'ly all too much. Talk me down someone, please!

...i am so tired of working on my current ff100: LFN story. darnit...they're vignettes. how died a series of vignettes get to be 13 pages long?!

Why do I blame Katya? Because in the guise of helping her not take on a new challenge, not only did she still take on the challenge (admit it, you were always gonna go for it. i was just a ruse :P) she somehow convinced me to sign up to. That's it. I'm certefiable. A word that I apparently can't even spell. Anywho, in true

lieuietak fashion, I plan on taking someone down with me. The challenge: Write 26 fanfics based on alphabetical prompts. There are 4 "word lists" - as they call them - two non-themed, one with a Mood theme and one with a Mythology theme. The community:

alphabetasoup. The selling points: There are sooooooo many things open! Fandoms, characters, you name, they likely got it. For all my LFNers...the entire show is up for grabs (move it Diane!). Plus, and this was actually convinced me, over and above Katie's reverse psychology, if you slack for 4 months they drop you. So for any of us kookie kids who've taken up

fanfic100 and are wondering how we're going to make it to story 2 (or in my case story 7) let alone story 100, at least you know that if you let it go the other challenge hanging over your head like that famous sword will eventually go away on its own. Of course I might be the only slacker on my friend's list :P

Anyway, so there you have it. On top of the 90-some-odd stories I still haven't written. So now would be a good time to [re]mention that I've created a separate lj for my penname under which I'll be doing both the AlphaBeta fics and all my other fanfics. I think I'm going to let my lj-community drop because, really, what's the point when I doubt they'll be other posters. So add me! I'm tvashti. Nothing's there right now. Like I don't think it's even got the layout I want to use, and it's a plus account so I apologize for the ads even now. I may, gulp, pay for an account.

So I have had yet another post-midnight night thanks to Nano. Not that that's horribly unusual but all this writing is making my ability to think non-existent. I swear it's amazing how much brain power, and apparently everything else power, gets sucked up when you're trying to squeeze out 2000 words in approximately 2-4 hours. And of course last night was Lost and my friend called and we quarterbacked the entire episode and I decided that I really had to eat (actually that one worked in my favor, my brain just didn't want to move w/o carbs) and I washed and braided my hair... The list of necessities which all had to be met last night is astounding.

But, seriously, I write NaNo and I am exhausted within an hour. I seriously fell asleep at least twice while typing. I snapped to, looked at the screen and went, "Wha?" (b/c consonents are out of my league at that point). I am not unconvinced that I completely changed and/or missed storylines at that point. This is not to even begin to mention the ff100 I'm still in the process of editing. Ugh.

You see that icon? The one about dumb people. Yeah...see that one everytime I deign to look in the mirror during the month of November.

In good news, however, I'm bringing Katie down with me :p
