If somehow you've missed it:

is still going on, and it's still awesome. Even if you have nothing to contribute, and somehow I doubt that of an f-list as talented as mine ;), the fic is totally worth it. Most people are sticking to the 3 sentence rule, if sometimes with very creative use of punctuation, and producing some amazing stories.

EDIT: I should also like to mention that it's eaten my brain a little.

If you're going to use their banner code, be sure to close both the last image code and the link code at the end.

Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] erinm_4600 for sucking me into this one. (Where's my sheep icon? ;) Despite the banner, I've just written 4-sentence Narnia fic. And I search for more. Too bad my writing alter-ego doesn't have a dreamwidth. I guess I can post via OpenID?

[livejournal.com profile] lieueitak, this counts towards nano, right? I left my flash with my stuff at work.

2 things

I'm reading a fic by an author whom I generally avoid for a couple of reasons, the least of which is I generally don't like her writing. Like the plots are interesting, at least in summary, but then I start reading and I'm bored kiss of death in fiction and fashion. Except now I'm reading something and, like, dude! Interesting! So how wrong would it be for my comment to be "Finally something of yours worth reading!" or something along those lines. Because that's honestly the first thing that popped into my head when I got to the comments :-/

I know, I know...not helpful in any way shape or form. *coughcough* Luckily there's a few people I need to go back to and review, so maybe by the time I circle back thisaway I'll have something more constructive to say. Fingers-crossed.

Secondly....I forgot what the second thing was. Could it be the weird tingly, inner-skull-itch this crazy weather is creating? The smokin' hot guy at my new job(!) who stopped by to drop off some necessary paperwork, and how proud I am of myself for not melting into a puddle of goo until after he left my cube.

NO! I remember now. I'm feeling like a fic-challenge--mostly because I don't feel very ficcish at all. So tired. But I'm hoping I can crank out 100-200 words for somebody. Anywho...under the cut. )

Story Lottery Round 3

Hopefully this will kick start a few fanfics, if nothing else.

as seen on [livejournal.com profile] houses_on_fire's blog: Name a character or pairing and a prompt, and I'll write you a one sentence fic.

This is open to everyone, including random passersby. Crossovers welcome. A brief listing of fandoms that I write include: La Femme Nikita, BtVS/A:ts, Tin Man, Smallville (a la early seasons), Harry Potter, X-Men, Gilmore Girls, Gentlemen Bastard Sequence (thanks Yuletide), Firefly, Star Trek (all series except Enterprise), Highlander. And if you just happen to know that I fangirl a fandom not listed, feel free to request something from it as well.

shnarfed from [livejournal.com profile] lieueitak (who doesn't know where she got it from, which is why my intructions are so vague :P )

Comment to this entry and list 3-5 fanfic ideas that you think I would never write.  I will choose one of the ideas and attempt to write it.

The only thing I won't write is slash and things rated R or NC-17 for sex. You can find a list of fandoms I will attempt here.

but I can't think of a char. So I leave it up to you. The person I stole this from ([livejournal.com profile] angel_gidget) did an X-Men/Batman crossover. I don't care what you choose. You can find a listing of fandoms I think I can write for here. And if you happen to know of any of my OCs, either ficcish or from rp (the two tend to cross), feel free to request one of them as well.

1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.

3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it’s over. No lingering afterwards!

4. Do ten of these, then post them.

I'm a nut

I have no idea what’s wrong with me, but I’m going to do this anyway:

If you reply to this post I will write you a drabble or double-drabble for any of the following fandoms (some of which are old and thus "obscure" for me), for your character of choice. Or gen if you prefer. And mayhap a situation? Just keep the won't-writes in mind if you're going to suggest a topic. The only things I won’t write are, well, the things I won’t write ;) Fandoms and won’t-writes are under the cut.

This post is open to both f-listers and curious strangers. Because, like I said, I’m a nut.

Also, please let me know if I'm free to post the drabble elsewhere or you want to keep it to yourself. You can make the decision after seeing the final product. All replies will be made in-comment.
