So Masterpiece Theater, that wonderful bastion of classics on tv, is showing the complete Jane Austen series which makes my Empire Period heart go pitter patter. Tonight is Persuasion. And guess who's playing a (minor if my memory serves) character?

Anthony Head! aka Giles from Buffy!

Am I having a fangirl moment? You bet your bottom dollar I am. He's so delightfully full of himself. It took me a minute o realize exactly who he was. Oh joy! Oh rapture! Buffy and Jane Austen, together as they always should have been :D
