wordcount, work, lack of sleep
Nov. 13th, 2007 11:32 pmso my wordcount as of this moment (b/c who knows what it'll be by the time i'm actually done tonight) is....

purdy, aint it? someone on
wrimobuddies had it so i went in search.
Work: so my office is moving, right? not too far, but enough that we need, like, real movers and stuff. omigosh. it's been an uphill battle almost from the start. i can't get into details otherwise i'll have to initiate my f-lock-all-work-related-posts rule, but it's been just about e-vil for a number of reasons. so now we are really in moving stage. things get tagged and packed up tomorrow, Thurs they actually get trucked to the new site. this morning i come in and all my plants are in the hall and desks are moved from the walls and the office is a new shade of very happy butter yellow. and they were nowhere near done. they painted, the switched the door to my boss' office (don't ask) and the began building another doorway-and-wall in the middle of an office where the was a hall...which would have completely blocked off the office behind it if they had actually put up the sheetrock. so that was work.
Lack of Sleep: just what it says. betw work and nano i have been wasted. i'm supposed to be at 26k and, as you can see, so not. it's not for lack of trying, it's for lack of being able to stay conscious. between
lieueitak,
orsinosmistress and
shaxberd i've been managing to stay awake, stay encouraged, and...okay not stay focused, but sometimes a complete lack of focus is exactly what i've needed. and
ashesofwrimo has been my co-vampire defendant! even if my vamps aren't particularly vampy. my coworker, who is all for the vampires, was like "So is there sex/blood/violence?" in 3 questions in rapid succession. which there isn't a whole lot of, at least not in this section. so now even with the vampire enthusiast i'm hanging my head in shame and mumbling a "No, it's mostly talking right now..." you can't win.

honorh. and while i'll agree to the Fundamentalist tag, i'd be interested to know what the description is for Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan is, since i rate so close, and for a Charismatic/Pentacostal since that's often how i describe myself. there seems to be very little wiggle room in the description. as a Ravenclaw and Grade A nerd, i am not opposed to science, science fiction or academia. anyway...you'll see what i mean:
