I'm home from my wee vacation visit to my Grandmother! and yet I don't feel a whole lot more rested. Sigh. We had a pretty good time. I was fair aggravated w/myself for not being more productive on the novel front. Yes, I know it was vacation, but the way I "used" my time instead was less than worthless. One huge upside, we got to see an uncle of mine who has been AWOL for at least 5 years. Needless to say there are a ton of pictures I need to send him. So that was major joy, in spite of the 2hr drive both ways to see him. Seriously 2 hours vs. 5 years? Worth it.

I've given up trying to keep a daily word count going while on vacations with family. Mine can't help their interrupting natures.

At least this last trip didn't hurt the current short story I'm on too badly. My home computer on the fritz will put a hurt on my deadline though. :p
