so as you may or may not know, you the one person who is reading this (that person being me), i've pretty much given my LJ over to my fanfic and the archival thereof. but this...this i had to share.

i just read a note/posting/message from an acquaintance of mine, one who is supposedly just a little bit of wonderful in the writing department and oh. oh. Ohhh how it hurts.

This reminds me...I need to reply to your last PM. I do mean to...just get sidetracked a lot! Haha. We had the library induction - finally! It took all of about 5 mins and a pathetic slideshow that taught me absolutely nothing whatsoever!

how does it hurt? just my inner editor wanting to come out and beat this person down. and once they're down and out for the count i'll be free to edit their work in peace! ;) i mean remember when i was talking about my past beta'ing experiences? i think i mentioned that some of the issues i had w/some of the people i did work for was that they thought they were better writers than they really were. what's annoying, though, is that it seems these are the exact ppl who have 200 reviews for their fics. *shrugs*

wait...does this count as a reply to my PM? so, wow, they made you wait all that time for the world's worst anything induction? that was a waste of your time. we totally could have been sending PMs about other completely random stuff

Urgh, I hate pushy people. Gah. Morons who think they know more than they actually do. Blahness. And I know that feeling - thank goodness my Tribe fanfic now has a steady fanbase, cause I would've gone crazy otherwise. Heh.

Erm..guess so. Lol. LJ messaging, eh? Interesting. Yep, it was the most pathetic thing I've ever been unfortunate enough to be a part of. *shudder* I mean if I'd learnt even one thing...
