Open Question

When you talk about your writing, do you make a difference between fanfiction and non-fanfic? For instance, I call all fanfiction (mine and others') either fanfic or fic, and all non-fannish writing "stories." Do other ppl subscribe to this, and if you don't would you understand it if you saw it? If you don't do this in particular, do you do something similar? Or do you not make word-distinctions at all?

I refer to it as either my fanfiction or my fiction. Keeps it fairly simple and straightforward.
