Sometimes I think I love you
because I'm used to loving you
Like an old wound that aches after it's healed
Like the memory scent of snow
There's nothing there
nothing but what longing leaves behind

I try to stir the feelings of something that has been exorcised
and I've moved on
But I don't want to admit that there's
no one to want anymore
