Realized in the dark (3/21/09 9 am-ish)
Sometimes I think I love you
because I'm used to loving you
Like an old wound that aches after it's healed
Like the memory scent of snow
There's nothing there
nothing but what longing leaves behind
I try to stir the feelings of something that has been exorcised
and I've moved on
But I don't want to admit that there's
no one to want anymore

And now that you've realized
You've lost her
forever
Because she's moved on
While you've just arrived
She did what she had to
to survive
If you ask her
She'll say
"It's been a long road loving you
And I've traveled it all alone
So when I saw an exit to get off
I thought its time I should go."
