Hmmm.. serious.. well, I went to a dance school an hour from home twice a week and competed in local arts festivals for about 5-6 years. But I wasn't serious enough to stick with it after I started university.
I guess I mean did you think of yourself as a dancer while you were doing dance, vs doing the dance stuff as a hobby. Like...I sing w/a band and we perform sometimes and I grew up in a family of ppl who sing to various degrees, but I don't really think of myself as a singer. The music thing isn't quite a hobby, but it's not quite the definition of who I am either (despite the fact that I sing to myself constantly). Does that make sense?

Okay, that makes sense. No, I didn't really think of it that way. I did think of myself as a singer, but not really a dancer per say. I was into way too many different things as a teenager to pinhole myself at the time. Sorry, probably not alot of help then.
