Why can't I eat lunch and knit at the same time? :(

Because the cosmos knows that, at some point, you would try and knit your sandwich into the sweater and eat a knitting needle, causing blood to get on th sweater and the sandwich.

Then both would be ruined.

ps: "sweater" = whatever item you're acutally knitting
