In unrelated news: I don't know how to take the news/rumors that LJ is on the verge of collapse and we're all going to lose the many precious things we've posted here. This is, in part, b/c I avoided posting personal and precious things here for a long time. I'm not really one to share with people I'm not very close to. Go figure, I've recently decided to start working on that. Thank you, LJ for failing. Anywho...so I've had the recent (as of 1 whole minute ago) epiphany: what if folks moved back to Yahoo!Groups? I've got one just for my poetry. I suppose I could open one just for my fic, etc. Wouldn't be the same though--no f-list of joy. Shnarf. And I've seen the other journals. They're...er...not pretty.

I wish Yahoo Groups would make a comeback too! I love opening my e-mail and finding fun stuff (like fanfic) instead of ads for illegal Viagra.

Yahoo isnt so popular and/or as organized as others. Dont you like Gmail? I think its super fab.

And Y!Groups are messy, I agree. But as I mentioned to eccentrici, I did like getting new messages directly to my email. Especially after I got gmail and could sort everything.

Y'know, gmail has a community/group thing. I don't know how good or popular it is though.
