Suggestions anyone?
Dec. 23rd, 2008 09:49 pmSo we all got a bottle of wine from the office at our annual Christmas party. The only problem is I don't particularly like wine, at least not any variety that I've tried thus far. There is a family friend I can give it to, but I'm going to be away for a little while (btw, I'm going away for New Year's but will still likely keep my regular internet hours) and don't know when I'll be able to get it to him. Suggestions for storage so it doesn't turn into vinegar before I can pass it over? It's a red, if that helps.
It took me forever to get home from work. There was an unexplained delay on the train lines. The upside was that the express came before the local. Somehow the express, which should have come after the local was only running 10 mins late while the local was running 45 mins late, and was thus usurped by the express. I wasn't complaining, though. By that point I'd been waiting an extra half hour already and my back was hurting. I stuffed the wine bottle in my bag with everything else I own while on the train, which led to even further back-ache-ness. My neck is seriously upset with me.
Bu-ut I am now the proud owner of nearly 2+ weeks of vacation! How that came to be is for a much more friends-only posting. I'm not sure what to do with it, though. I certainly no longer have an excuse to not finish transcribing the novel. The editing can begin, too. I don't want to be a total homebody, though, so I need something else to do. Heck, maybe I'll take myself to the museum. I've been wanting to go for a lil while now and I have no problems going by myself. Would be nice to drag my friends along, though. I usually have lots of fun when I can get someone to go with.
