I have a veneer on one of my two front teeth from a roller skating accident I had as a child. Today while eating a [slightly stale] pastry and drinking hot chocolate, it fractured. Needless to say I'm going to the dentist tomorrow.

Thank God for a dentist open Labor Day weekend!

I have a partial on one of my front teeth because my brother shoved me into the side of our watering trough (that we were using as a swimming pool). The dentist said that it would last me for about ten years. I was 13 when I got it fixed. Exactly ten years later, almost to the day, the partial fell out while I was in my last year at college. So, I feel your pain there. At least you're close enough to a dentist to get it fixed quickly. I had to wait two months for a break to come home and get mine fixed. =)

I am now at home having gotten a bond instead of a veneer that could, potentially, go at any time. But as me and Mom were talking about it, we think a veneer is what I got in the first place so if this was done as well as the previous one it'll be a good while before I need another done.
