This wasn't what I had intended to post tonight, but here goes. It's short.

As much as the liberal press (I personally live in a very liberal city) likes to bash President Bush about the war, doesn't anyone remember September 12, 2001? Or not even that much later...September 11 around eleven a.m. or so, my most lib friends were screaming for blood almost literally. Doesn't anyone remember how we all decided that if we didn't make a decisive strike that the world would think they could crawl on top of us?

I'm not saying Bush doesn't have faults, but if we're going to dump on the guy could we not do it with a selective memory? Lets not excuse ourselves. To a certain extant we are as complicit in what has happened around the world as he is. As the entire government is because, lest we also forget, this is not a monarchy, but a representative government.
