Comment to this entry, and I will give you a letter so you can do the same in your journal. (Or not, as you see fit.) (But please do! :D)
1. Nerf - not that I ever had a Nerf that I can remember, but, c'mon, "It's Nerf or nothin'!"
2. Nikka Costa - she's good singin'-people. Admittedly I only have the cd, but that's because I'm a slacker about buying stuff, even for myself.
3. NaNoWriMo!!! - yes it sucks the very life out of me. Yes I become antisocial and a horrible friend. Yes I throw out my back, drink too much tea, don't get enough sleep and hardly check my email. But it's one of the greatest things I've ever gotten to do. I've met people, I've jumpstarted my novel, I've gotten new music by new artists out of it....and I learned just what I could produce when I put my mind to it and disconnect from the web.
4. No Doubt - Gwenny, you're a doll, but it's the No Doubt cds I can listen to over and over again.
5. Nails - I've always liked my [finger]nails. Apparently I wasn't very good at keeping up with them b/c my mother used to cut them down ruthlessly. These days I'm a lot less likely to scratch my face up. Which is odd b/c I'm still not very good at keeping up with them. Sometimes they snap, sometimes they break, sometimes they peel, but so long as they don't go down to the skin and aren't ragged enough to cause damage I don't rightly care. I just like havin'em. Nails, so convenient.
6. Nail polish - I hardly ever use it anymore -- no patience -- but I still have a drawer full of the stuff. My toes get most of the attention since I don't have to be as careful with them.
7. New fiction - whether it's from my fave real-lit authors like Carol Berg and William Gibson or fanfic authors like
wrigleyfield and
erinm_4600 I love getting new chapters/books to read in a series that's already left me salivating for more.
8. Now and Laters - the classic candy of my childhood, which we used to pronounce "Nowalaters". They used to come in rectangular packs of five, and used to be hard as a brick. Seriously, you could build with the things, or snap'em off in the summer and hand out pieces to your friends. These days they're a lot softer. Banana was always my fave. It got me in trouble more than once.
9. Nichelle Nichols - of Star Trek, and more recently, Heroes fame.
10. Nikita, La Femme - okay that's a bit of a cheat, but I was a big fan of Nikita-the-character, too, in all her many incarnations.
