so it's finally warm and any bugs that were hibernating have woken up and i am now being stalked by a fly as the only warm being in the apt. um...i'm running away now.

You need to talk to nikita31j7 about bugs...you have a common attitude towards them. I spent the day spring-cleaning the garage and met all kinds of spiders, woodlice and earwigs.

Had to look up earwigs and silverfish, since I've never encountered either up close and personal. Naturally, screen froze on a giant picture of an earwig, so I had to turn off the monitor till it was safe again. According to Wiki, the house centipedes I sometimes encounter actually eat earwigs, but I still have no inclination to let one wander around my house. *shivers in disgust*

I don't mind frogs, or anything reptilian/amphibious. I will, however, go berserk over a moth or any other critter with six or more legs and moveable parts.

oh...migosh! the common house centipede....who in sam hill decided that that thing was common?! i remember the first time i ran into one in the bathroom sink. my solution? close the door until it decided to vacate the premise.

there're a good number of bugs i don't mind at all. i saw my first bee of the season and was mightily pleased. i also like ants and ladybugs (but who doesn't like ladybugs) and an assortment of beetles. and butterflies. but moths give me the heebie-jeebies, don't know why.

reptiles and most amphibians don't, ahem, bug me. i'm a big snake fan, i like frogs [from a distance], i find monitor lizard fascinating when viewed from a distance.
