The Dark is Sucking
Aug. 16th, 2007 12:51 pmI don't think anyone else on my flist is a fan of "The Dark Is Rising" series, so I suppose this is for whatever happener-by happens to browse by:
20th Century Fox has jumped on the e-vil fanlib.com bandwagon by offering a fanfic contest (although they're not calling it that) for the new movie, coming out 10/5/07 supposedly. I hope serious ficcers and fans stay far, far away and that some lucky impressionable kid wins. They'll get a call from the kid playing Will (a teenaged American, not a pre-adolescent Brit!!!) and get to visit the set and all that jazz. I'm sure they'll love it and not feel like they've sold their creative soul to The Man.
