Author's Notes: this answers the infamous, and now multi-fandom, 5 Things That Never Happened challenge. If you’ve never encountered it, the terms of the fandom are hard to describe, but it really is just what title suggests. There are lots of variations on the theme (and I highly suggest running a search for 5 Things fiction in your favorite fandoms), but it’s very straightforward in its premise. The link that I have relates to the original 5 Things story and challenge, but, as I mentioned, the challenge has crossed into virtually every fandom.
