i had a topic

I forget now what that topic was. Something about how my mom sometimes takes things a step too far and goes from being annoyed (at me) to being mean. Oh yes...we were watching West Wing and I kept asking her various stuff. She's a complete non-talker during tv stuff -- mostly. She get's a gag out of talking to me while I'm doing stuff, completely ignoring the fact that I will stop if she tells me she's doing something important, and usually w/o her having to repeat herself. Anywho...we're watching West Wing and there's a scene when an aid comes into to someone's office while he's working and, even though he begs her repeatedly to give him a moment to think, can hardly shut up for a minute. Now considering that she'd just yelled at me about 2 commercials earlier for basically the same thing, I knew she was thinking "Gee...sounds like someone I know." Did she actually have to come out and say that though? Well apparently she did. I think I lasted about 30 seconds before I had to leave the living room. I have no defenses against my mom. Not that she seems to either notice or care sometimes
