yuletide beta anyone?

So the deadline for posting yuletide fics is tomorrow. At least half of my story (hopefully more) is already done, but I'm sure it couldn't hurt if someone gave it a looksie. I seriously doubt if anyone on the f-list is part of this fandom, and I'm not asking that you be. I'd be very happy with a grammar- and sense-beta.

So if anyone's got a couple of minutes and pre-holiday madness brain cells to spare, I'd be grateful :)

While looking for the jacket in SciFi's Alice I came across this little number and now I totally want it.

So I just remembered that I had this crazy dream last night...

The main part of it was that I had suddenly come to from a long coma/amnesia type thing, somehow figured out how to drive (or maybe not since I end up crashing through the wall of a building), remembered that I was in a serious relationship with Scott Summers (aka Cyclops, although a young version of him) and that we had regular RPG/hacker meetings with our fellow geeks, and that I could meet him there. So I picked up one of my friends (a real friend that I've known since H.S. and who has no affinity for X-Men as far as I know), drove to the place, crashed through the walls, and reintroduced myself to Cyke. Who intro'd me to the group and promptly broke things off w/a girl who sometimes looked like Claudia Black and sometimes like some honey-blond 20-something. Esp when he reminded everyone that I used to play Scorpius' girlfriend, a char played by Cyke.

Not only did my RL friend find this all to be perfectly normal, tho she was less than pleased w/my driving skills, but I did too! Until I woke up, got cleaned up,and looked at myself in the mirror.
